The next release of I14Y is planned for the evening of 27 May 2026. It includes the changes and enhancements described below. I14Y partner organisations with the appropriate access can test the updated software immediately on the I14Y acceptance environment. Please contact the Interoperability Unit if you do not yet have access to this environment, which is used for software testing.

Please note that the release date may be postponed at short notice if problems arise. Individual features may also be removed from the release and only activated at a later point in time. If you have any questions or issues related to this release, please contact the Interoperability Unit (i14y@bfs.admin.ch).

Creation type is now visible publicly: The public user interface now shows when an entry was created and last modified, as well as whether it was created manually or automatically. This field was introduced in the last release.

Creation type in the admin area: The admin area now shows a warning when an entry was created automatically. This helps prevent accidental manual edits of entries that are regularly overwritten by automated processes.

Reuse of concepts: The concept detail page now shows how often a concept is used in data structures, including links to the relevant datasets. The catalog page also shows this number in a chip.

Official I14Y URIs: I14Y now provides stable URIs for classes, attributes and associations. Machine access to these URIs redirects to the linked data object, while browser access redirects to the corresponding page in I14Y.
